Our strength lies in building and developing sustainable relationships with all stakeholders on an equal footing – from the board of directors to civil society actors. In this way, we create spaces for genuine collaboration, discover new avenues of influence, and generate momentum that extends far beyond the obvious. Our aim: Sustainable transformation can only succeed if everyone shares their perspectives, jointly develops systemic solutions, and leverages the key levers.
The IOOI logic: Impact needs a clear plan to unfold
The IOOI (Input, Output, Outcome, Impact) logic is a structuring approach that is gaining increasing importance in impact management. It helps organizations clearly distinguish and relate the various levels of impact. Most importantly, it enables them to plan backward from the desired long-term changes and, based on these goals, design projects, offerings, and measures to achieve them.
The seven-step PHINEO ladder, which we use in practice, is based on the IOOI logic. It is more concrete and illustrates how impact is created step by step. Together, with this approach, we create transparency for all stakeholders, from funding bodies to implementation partners, and promote effective collaboration for positive change. Because success is not measured in actions, but in the intensity of the impact they unleash.
The four levels of IOOI logic

Impact report: Powerful instrument for successful support work
Developing an impact area begins with clarifying the starting point, objectives, and KPIs. What is the situation, where do we want to go, how can we measure impact, do we have sufficient evidence, etc. The impact report then contains a comprehensive inventory of the quantitative and qualitative results and compiles all relevant information and data at a glance. It makes the impact, the social value of the engagement, visible. Thus, an impact report is an important milestone on the joint path to analyzing and evaluating successes and failures. What is often underestimated: By involving all relevant stakeholders, it becomes a living document that not only summarizes the results but also serves as a driver for future developments.

A compelling impact report conveys the achieved impacts and successes to outsiders not only through comprehensible facts, but above all through vivid stories. A content concept and an appealing visual design are crucial. This makes the report an effective tool for attracting new partners and funding.
