Corporate Citizenship Strategy and Sustainability Report

Initial situation

 

RasenBallsport Leipzig e. V. wanted to make its social commitment more impact-oriented and at the same time realize the club's first sustainability report according to international standards.

 

Task

 

Development of a corporate citizenship strategy, conducting a stakeholder analysis, and designing and implementing the first sustainability report according to GRI.

 

Challenge

  • Analysis and structuring of existing activities and responsibilities

  • Integration of different organizational units and perspectives

  • Ensuring a transparent and comprehensible presentation of sustainability performance

We developed a strategic framework that strengthens impact orientation in social engagement and creates a clearly defined narrative that fits the club's identity.

  • Stakeholder interviews and evaluation of relevant perspectives

  • Analysis of regional needs and the club's environment

  • Research and analysis of the engagement activities of other professional football clubs

  • Development of the corporate citizenship strategy including key themes and recommendations for action

  • Support with KPI definition and action planning

  • Conception and creation of the sustainability report
